Bourton-on-the-Water Village Green

The Village Green is the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, where the shallow River Windrush flows beneath a series of low stone footbridges past honey-coloured cottages, tea rooms and shops. It's one of the most photographed spots in the Cotswolds. The green is the setting for village celebrations through the year, most famously the Christmas tree that stands in the river each December.
