Start 2027 at what's billed as the biggest New Year's Day classic vehicle gathering in the UK. Well over a thousand classic cars and motorcycles fill the historic Brooklands site in Weybridge — lined up along the Finishing Straight, the Members' Banking, the Aircraft Park, around Concorde and through the Motoring Village of the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit.
Bringing a car? Vehicles (including motorcycles) registered up to and including 1997 can display on site, arriving from 8:30am via the Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road. Modern sports cars and supercars are welcome too.
Coming to look? Gates open at 9am and the museum's exhibitions open at 10am. There's live music, a winter BBQ and breakfast and lunch stalls, and your ticket includes the whole museum for the day — historic racing cars, aircraft, Concorde and the London Bus Museum.
Good to know:
• Entry is included in standard museum admission; children under 4 and Brooklands members go free
• Free parking
• Hugely popular, so booking in advance is strongly recommended
• Dress for the weather — much of the display is outdoors
