Spelthorne Sports Club

Spelthorne Sports Club is a members' sports and social club on Ashford Common, and its floodlit football ground is home to two Combined Counties League Division One sides: Spelthorne Sports, and Staines & Lammas, who moved in on a groundshare from the 2025/26 season. Facilities reflect its community roots. There is a small covered seating area behind the goal at the clubhouse end, a well-kept grass pitch, and a recently refurbished clubhouse with a bar and a function hall that hosts parties and big-match screenings. With two clubs sharing the ground, there is football on most weekends in the season. It is relaxed, friendly step-six football where you can stand right by the rail, chat with the volunteers who keep the place running and finish the afternoon with a drink at the bar.
