Sutton United, the U's, are Sutton's professional football club, playing in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. Home is the famous Gander Green Lane (currently the 360 Engage Stadium).
Sutton rose from local leagues through the Athenian and Isthmian Leagues and spent time in the Football League after promotion in 2021. Their amber and chocolate colours are well known, and the club has a celebrated FA Cup history.
Matchdays at Gander Green Lane are friendly and atmospheric, with terracing close to the pitch and a strong local following. The ground also hosts Crystal Palace Women, so it is a busy football venue for Surrey fans.
