Kings Square, Gloucester

Kings Square is Gloucester's newly transformed central plaza, a wide open space with dancing water fountains just off the four Gate streets and a short walk from the bus and rail stations. It's surrounded by shops, cafés and the King's Walk shopping centre. The square is the stage for the city's big public celebrations, including the Christmas Tree of Light switch-on and the finale of the Lantern Parade.
