Gloucester Storytelling Café hosts a day-long celebration of storytelling at The Folk of Gloucester. There's a free children's workshop at 10:30am for ages 7 to 14 and a free adults' workshop at 2pm. It all builds to the 7pm Bardic Chair Story Slam, where local yarn-spinners compete for the city's storytelling crown.

Join Becki of Ghosts & Giggles and her team for a late-night ghost investigation through The Folk of Gloucester's 500-year-old buildings on Westgate Street. Hear the stories of former owners said to refuse to move on, and explore the rooms by night. Spooky, sociable and great fun, from 8pm until 1am.
Santa and his elf pop into The Folk of Gloucester on two December Saturdays. Children say hello, receive a present and take part in a Christmas trail through the 500-year-old building. Grown-ups go free and can relax with hot drinks and cakes from the café, while tickets are £8 per child.
