The Bill Kyte Stadium

About

The Bill Kyte Stadium, long known locally as Weycourt, is home to Godalming Town and was renamed in 2018 in honour of a former club president. The club plays in the Combined Counties League Premier Division South, step five of the non-league pyramid. It is a homely, slightly old-fashioned ground with plenty of character, including a main stand bought for a few hundred pounds from Addlestone & Weybridge Town's old ground back in 1985. The licensed clubhouse is the social hub, with a bar, dance floor and outdoor area, and visitors regularly mention the friendly welcome, fairly priced drinks and the tea bar's bacon rolls and chips. If you live in Godalming, Farncombe or Milford, this is the simplest way to watch live football on a Saturday afternoon, and the clubhouse is a comfortable place to linger afterwards.
