The Jolly Farmer

About

The Jolly Farmer in Bramley is a family-run independent freehouse — same family since 1971, freehouse since the mid-90s — and one of the few remaining of its kind in the South East. Steve, Chris and the team aim for the highest possible standard of food, drink and accommodation in clean, attractive surroundings, backed by a warm welcome and a pleasant traditional atmosphere. A traditional ale house at heart, it keeps a constantly changing selection of up to eight real ales from breweries big and small across Britain, teamed with delicious home-cooked food made from fresh local ingredients. Rooms are available for overnight stays, and the pub’s calendar has long included quiz nights and dog-friendly hospitality. A destination freehouse for Bramley and the Surrey Hills when you want serious ale, proper cooking and a family-run welcome. Worth the short hop from Guildford for anyone collecting independents rather than chains.
