Kingston's Ancient Market Place has hosted traders for more than 800 years, making it one of the oldest market squares in England. Ringed by historic buildings and the old Market House, it hosts a daily food market and comes alive each winter with a European-style Christmas market, all just a few minutes' walk from the Thames.
