Royal Windsor Racecourse sits on an island in the River Thames just outside Windsor, with its distinctive figure-of-eight track and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. In summer it is famous for its Monday evening meetings, and the season also brings jumps racing, themed racedays and big seasonal fairs. You can even arrive by riverboat from Windsor on selected days. Good food, riverside views and easy access make it a great day out.
