Chiddingstone Castle

Chiddingstone Castle is a romantic castellated country house set in landscaped grounds with a lake, close to one of Kent's prettiest Tudor villages. Inside, its eclectic collections range from Japanese armour and Egyptian antiquities to Stuart and Jacobite treasures, gathered by the antiquarian Denys Eyre Bower. The tearoom and gardens make it a peaceful half-day out, and the house hosts seasonal fairs and events through the year.
