About

Berkeley Castle has been home to the Berkeley family for nearly 900 years, making it one of the oldest continuously inhabited castles in England. Its pink-grey stone walls, Great Hall and terraced gardens are steeped in history, including the cell linked to the death of Edward II. The castle hosts candlelit concerts, markets and seasonal events throughout the year, all in a wonderfully atmospheric setting.
