About

WWT Slimbridge, founded by Sir Peter Scott on the banks of the Severn, is a vast wetland reserve where you can get close to flamingos, otters and thousands of wild birds. In winter, Bewick's swans arrive from the Russian Arctic, and the cosy hides are perfect for watching them. Families love the canoe safari, adventure play areas and daily otter feeds, and there's a cafe overlooking the Rushy lake.
