Scarlets vs Newcastle Red Bulls

Scarlets host Newcastle Red Bulls at Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli in their EPCR Challenge Cup opener. Llanelli's rugby heritage runs deep, and a new European campaign is always a reason for optimism in west Wales. It's a cross-border meeting between Welsh and English sides. Kick-off is at 8pm UK time on Saturday 17 October, streaming on BBC iPlayer. Rugby fans can catch the game at a local pub showing it.
