Metropolitan Police

Metropolitan Police FC, known as the Met, are a non-league football club based at Imber Court in East Molesey, the home of the Met Police Sports and Social Club. They play in the Combined Counties League Premier Division South.

Founded in 1919, the club was originally made up of serving police officers, though that rule was later dropped. It is still part-funded by a police staff lottery.

Imber Court is a large, leafy sports ground beside the River Mole, and matchdays are relaxed and friendly with a clubhouse bar. A good-value afternoon out in Elmbridge.
