Dorking Wanderers are Dorking's professional football club and one of Surrey's great modern success stories. They play in the National League South, the sixth tier of English football, at Meadowbank in the town centre.
The club was formed in 1999 by a group of friends as a recreational side and went on to win twelve promotions in 23 seasons, reaching the National League in 2022. After two seasons at that level they returned to the National League South.
Meadowbank is right in the middle of Dorking, so it is easy to combine a game with lunch or a pint in town. Matchdays are friendly and family-oriented, with a club that has grown its support remarkably quickly.
