Guildford Flames
Ice Hockey
About this team
Guildford Flames are Surrey's top-flight ice hockey team, playing in the Elite Ice Hockey League, the highest level of the sport in the UK. Home games are at the ice rink inside the Guildford Spectrum leisure complex.
The club was founded in October 1992 and spent its early years in the second tier of British hockey before stepping up to the Elite League from the 2017–18 season. They have built up one of the most loyal followings of any sports team in the county.
Match nights at the Spectrum are noisy, fast and family-friendly, with drums, chanting and a crowd close to the glass. Book ahead for big games, wrap up warm, and make a night of it with food and drinks in Guildford afterwards.
